A lovely, old-fashione word, with plenty of present day potential. I won't rest till I use it in a conversation.
I'm familiar with the word, but it's not one I've ever used.
ReplyDeleteLOL, thought of you when I read this comment on GRs:

Oh my! Thanks for the link. I believe Pooh would say, "there's a wambly in my tumbly." And now I'm being silly.
DeleteLOL! You're welcome. :)
DeleteYes, definitely an old-fashioned word...belongs in some old-school rhyme!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I LOVED the "Dead in the Desert" excerpt! I am sooooo ready for more Jon & Andy, I have the paperback to re-read "Dead in LA"...
Thanks! One more week. To be honest, I can hardly wait myself. The last week before a new release is the hardest.
DeleteForgot to mention I enjoyed the "Summer Lovin'" stories also! I especially enjoyed "Werewolves of Venice Beach", and thought for sure Slade was going to be a shifter (I was glad that he wasn't, just borrowing the collar :)), wouldn't mind more of Bryan & Slade & gang!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked it! I took two field trips to the beach in the name of "research" for that story. Btw, Slade has a brief, uncredited cameo in Dead in the Desert. :)
