Such a simple, straightforward word, yet I can't say I've ever used it. This oversight must be remedied.
Hmm. Not sure I've ever used it, either.
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about the shades of difference between askew and aslant. A picture hanging on the wall crooked can be either, but rays of sunlight are rarely askew.
